As a brand designer, there's nothing quite like the thrill of taking a client's vision and transforming it into a visual masterpiece. Recently, I had the immense pleasure of crafting a brand new logo that encapsulates the heart and soul of a new hometown bakery. Today, I'm excited to share with you the final logo design.

Every design project starts with a spark of inspiration. In this case that inspiration was as sweet as it gets – the delectable world of baked goods. Understanding the client's vision, finding inspiration and following a tried and true brand design process is the name of the game.

The initial phase of any design project is all about exploration and creativity then comes the digital transformation.

Logo Design Concepts

Choosing the Perfect Ingredients

Typography played a crucial role in this logo. I wanted to select a typeface that felt warm, inviting, and perfectly complemented the bakery's character. After thorough exploration, the ideal font emerged, giving the logo a harmonious balance of traditional and modern elements.

Along with the importance of selecting the perfect type, it was also my goal to create a the perfect custom rolling pin line drawing. Something modern yet approachable seemed to me like the most appropriate way to visually communicate the brands voice and speak to their target audience as those who would be shopping for gluten free baked goods are statistically higher income, more modern thinking folks.
